3 WARDROBE STAPLES THAT AREN'T CLOTHES
Wardrobe staples are things that every wardrobe must have to be complete. These usually include things like a well-fitted black blazer, a leather jacket, perfectly fitting jeans, comfortable go-with-everything shoes, etc. But every wardrobe needs a few non-clothing items that no one ever thinks about. Here are the top 3 wardrobe staples that aren't clothes.
Steamer Not all of us have the time, energy or wherewithal to iron our clothes. A steamer is a great alternative because it is fast and easy to use. What could be better than plugging it in, waiting 45 seconds for it to heat up, then de-wrinkling your favorite shirt right on the hangar?
Ever see a mannequin on display in a store with a bajillion pins or clips sticking out of it? That's because most of the time clothing does not fit well off the rack and unless you are a sample size, things you buy in a store will probably need some sort of tweaking. Hence, a tailor should literally be one of your best friends. Tailoring is a very simple way to make your clothes fit you better and therefor be more flattering.
Finding a tailor in your neighborhood is ideal but if your current tailor isn't cutting it or if you are in dire need of one that you can trust try going to your favorite store and asking them where they send their clothes to get tailored. Sometimes, places will even have their own in-house tailor.
Spot Stain Remover
It's pretty much inevitable, you are going to spill something on yourself. It does not matter how careful you are, that coffee is ending up dribbled down the front of your shirt. This is why it is good to carry around a small stain remover in your bag, so you won’t have to worry about embarrassing situations in public.
